Baptism & Bautizo Photography
A quiet ceremony, the godparents, four generations in one room. The kind of day that matters more every year the photos exist.
Baptisms ask for a lighter touch than a big reception: no flash during the sacrament, positions agreed with the parish beforehand, and a photographer who knows where the water, the candle, and the godparents’ hands will be before they’re there.
Most families have us stay for the celebration after: the meal, the cake, and the family portraits that only happen when everyone is already dressed and in one place. We work in English and Spanish, and we know how these celebrations flow in both.

What we cover
A typical bautizo day includes:
- The family arriving and the quiet minutes before the ceremony
- The sacrament itself, photographed without flash: the water, the candle, the blessing
- Portraits with the godparents outside the church
- Four-generation family portraits while everyone is together
- The celebration after: the meal, the cake, the toasts
Sized to the celebration
Most bautizos are covered in two to four hours: the ceremony plus the celebration after. Coverage starts at $600 for a half day, with shorter custom coverage available. Tell us your plans and we’ll quote it in one call.
Our published collections on the pricing page show how we structure every quote: all-inclusive, no hidden fees.
Simple, start to finish
- Reach out — Share the date and the church. We’ll set up a free 15-minute call, in English or Spanish, and check availability.
- Reserve the date — A signed agreement and a 30% retainer hold the date.
- The day — We confirm the parish’s photography rules ahead of time, photograph the ceremony quietly, and stay for the celebration.
- The gallery — A few sneak peeks within a day or two, and the full hand-edited gallery within a few weeks.

FAQ
Do you photograph inside the church?
Yes: quietly, without flash during the sacrament, and within whatever guidelines your parish sets. We confirm the rules with the church before the day.
How much coverage does a baptism need?
Two hours covers the ceremony and portraits outside the church. Four covers the celebration after as well, and that’s what most families choose.
Can you photograph the family celebration too?
That’s our favorite part. The ceremony is the reason, but the party after is where the four-generation portraits happen.
¿Hablan español?
Sí. Las llamadas de planeación y la dirección el día del evento pueden ser completamente en español, en inglés, o en los dos.
When do we receive the photos?
A few sneak peeks within a day or two, and the full hand-edited gallery within a few weeks, downloadable with print rights.
